Global Eye Clinic Mumbai is empanelled under the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), allowing eligible beneficiaries including serving central government employees and pensioners to access eye care services. Both service personnel and pensioners can obtain the required CGHS referral memo from their respective CGHS Wellness Centre, based on the recommended treatment plan. CGHS beneficiaries can avail approved ophthalmic procedures such as cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, retinal treatments, corneal procedures, squint surgery, and other medically indicated eye surgeries at CGHS-notified rates as per terms and conditions. Note that these procedures are done at CGHS-approved rates. Patients must bring a valid CGHS card and a referral letter from a CGHS wellness centre to avail of this benefit.
Global Eye Clinic Mumbai is empanelled under the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), enabling eligible beneficiaries to access cashless ophthalmic care at CGHS-notified rates. CGHS generally covers cataract surgery with approved intraocular lenses (IOLs), glaucoma procedures, retinal treatments, and other notified surgical eye surgeries as per scheme guidelines. To avail cashless benefits, patients are required to present a valid CGHS card along with a referral letter from a CGHS Wellness Centre. For surgical procedures, pre-authorisation from the CGHS office is also necessary.
